Air filter

The air filter ensures that the air that is sucked in by the engine is cleared of dust particles, sand and other debris that are sucked in by the engine together with the air.

An engine cannot cope with polluted air and the moment the engine no longer receives the right air, the mixture of fuel and oxygen becomes unbalanced. This can cause the performance of your engine to decline.

If "strange" things get into the engine in the absence of a proper air filter, they will cause damage to the valves, pistons, piston rings and cylinder walls. In extreme cases it can even mean the end of the engine.
