Our Discovery 2 steel Steering Guard is designed specifically for the Discovery 2 and fits all models from 1998 to 2005, with or without ACE.

The guard is hot dipped galvanized throughtout for supreme corrosion resistance and durability. A fantastic looking guard when fitted to the vehicle, particularly when combined with one of our FF1010 D2 winch bumpers or FF1011 heavy duty D2 bumpers. This guard is designed to protect the steering gear right across the width of the chassis and  when combined with a differential guard provides comprehensive front end protection so you can be confident that you are minimising the risk of damage when driving off-road.

Another extra advantage of fitting this guard, if you already have a winch bumper fitted, is that it prevents access to the winch mounting bolts therby adding some security against you winch being stolen.
